Tarot originated in 14th- and 15th-century Italy and then spread to the rest of the world. Learn a bit about how it rose to prominence during the Renaissance and how it can still be applicable in modern-day life. Far more than fortune telling, tarot can be used as a tool to connect with your own inner wisdom, to aid in decision making and self-knowledge. Serra Jaggar of Indie South will lead us in an exploration of the cards and their meanings, different tarot decks and different spreads to divine meaning. The workshop fee is $25 and includes your own Rider Waite tarot deck to continue your practice. This workshop is full; contact callan@uga.edu or 706.583.0111 to be placed on the waitlist.
