Family Day To-Go: Look, Paint, Repeat

Artists often paint the same subject many times. For Pierre Daura the subject was a medieval village high above the sea on a cliff, and for Elaine de Kooning it was a chaotic sculpture in a park in Paris. Compare different versions of the same subject and then “look, paint and repeat” at home using a free Family Day To-Go kit. Kits include a guide and an art activity with supplies and can be picked up from the museum Thursday – Sunday the week of the virtual event.
